Well, we did it - a new B.H. recording is in the can. When you play in a band with 9 members, you'd think recording would be a total crazy nightmare of arguments and chaos and exploding equipment.

Thankfully, it was about as simple and painless as it could have been thanks to our fearless leader Mathias Kom and the great work of Andy at the House of Miracles in London. Thanks to my band mates for a fun recording experience. You all rock - except for Darcy - who is fired.

Back Medows wrap up

Wow. What a week. I've been playing trumpet and banjolele with The Burning Hell for a while now and having a blast. Other than the hopefully impermanent damage done to my body from 4 straight days of playing music, staying up waaaaay past my bedtime and lots of travel with musicians of varying degrees of smellyness I'd have to say it was the most fun I've had in recent memory.

We are pleased to announce that Radio Free Nepal is now fully operational.

Radio Free Nepal is a joint project between Radio Free Network and the Canadian Forum for Nepal, and exists to support and celebrate Nepal's democratic accomplishments and aspirtations.

Dr Pramod Dhakal (Director of the Canadian Forum for Nepal) is in Nepal as I type this, and once he returns on July 10th we'll have another project update.

After some twiddling, I seem to have convinced the stream server that life is worth living after all, and we're back on the air. We can't complain too much - this was the first time the server had been offline in just under 400 days.

Alas, our main audio stream server is under the weather so we can't broadcast audio just now. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's a power supply problem. Will diagnose further and we'll be back online and streaming as soon as we can manage it. Stay tuned.

I personally know Nancy and she tells me that my voice is on the album 101 heresies. Anyway, Nancy did not distribute this album someone else did without her permission. However, I will talk to her about your request for the song on the album "Its about Love" and see what she would like to do.

There is quite a story to this album and its origination. Nancy lost her husband under "suspicious" circumstances and this album was inspired by those tragic events.
