We're really getting somewhere here! Today was the first proper full orchestra recording session, and like every good recording session in the history of music, it came complete with drama, a lot of uncontrollable laughter, and a few minor tantrums. Fortunately it finished with cookies, and all was well in the end. The kids had a great time, and I think we actually managed to get one or two decent takes. If nothing else, we have a much better idea for next Tuesday of what to do (make sure every single person actually knows ALL the chords to a song, for example), and what not to do (never keep the cookies 'til the end).
